In 1999, Mrs. Cameron became a recognized Mediator for the United States Postal Service in handling their employment disputes for the USPS REDRESS I & II Programs. In 2003, Mrs. Cameron became certified in Advanced Critical Incident Stress Management & Debriefing (CISM 2). Aside from her background in labor relations, Mrs. Cameron's interests and education have afforded her a comprehensive knowledge in areas of business relationships. With a concentration on the fast growing evolution of the internet, Mrs. Cameron will be working with the Mediation InformationResource Center as an Online Mediator in assisting business professionals in matters of intellectual property rights, such as copyright, trademark and patent registration matters.
With over 35 years experience in labor relations, she is founder of OM Services' Employment Practice Group which concentrates on consensual dispute resolution (Mediation) for workplace related claims such as sexual harassment, ADA compliance and collective bargaining conflicts.
Other areas of practice include mediation of real property disputes between buyers and sellers. In 1996, Mrs. Cameron began mediating real estate contract disputes for The Maryland Association of REALTORS® and their affiliated boards and associations and in 2003, Mrs. Cameron became the Program Administrator of the Maryland Association of REALTORS® Mediation Program for “Buyer-Seller” & “Broker-Client” disputes.
In 2004, Mrs. Cameron was one of twenty-five mediators from around the state that was selected to participate in a special training for facilitating multi-party disputes for municipalities & community groups that the State of Marylandsponsored through MACRO (Mediation & Conflict Resolution Office).
